In an hour’s drive around Mt. San Jacinto, you can be a world away from Palm Springs at Idyllwild-Pine Cove, CA. Instead of warm desert, you are transported up 6,000 ft. in elevation to pine trees, snow and much cooler temperatures. It has a small mountain-town charm.
- This town monument was the 2012 winner for “World’s Best Use of Gorilla Glue” The artist glued together four old growth cedars using a case of Gorilla Glue prior to carving.
- Mike still has to stop for ice cream – even when it’s winter.
- No snow in Palm Springs of course, but there’s still a little left here.
