Jackson Hole is premier paragliding territory, both for consistent summer winds and breathtaking scenery. We signed up for paragliding, dropping about 3,000 ft. in 20 minutes. A little adventure for Mike’s birthday!
- The famous antler arches have graced Jackson Hole since 1960. Each year, Boy Scouts collect the elk antler sheds and sell them in the town square.

- OxBow Bend is a gorgeous foreground to the majestic Tetons. Just one day later, this view was completely obscured by wildfire smoke.
- Jenny Lake’s namesake is Jenny Leigh, a Shoshone native who was instrumental in the original 1872 survey.
- Amelia Earhart fell in love with Wyoming when she first landed here in 1934. She had planned to build a summer cabin, but disappeared over the Pacific in 1937.
