Bighorn are grazers, eating grasses and shrubs. After descending to grasslands to quickly eat large amounts of vegetation, bighorn will then retreat to cliffs away from predators.
Bears have acute eyesight and hearing. Their sense of smell is seven times greater than a bloodhound’s. They have a keen ability to detect pet food, garbage, barbecue grills and bird feeders—and once they locate a food source, they remember where it is.
Badgers are excellent diggers. They can easily bury themselves faster than a human with a shovel can dig them out.
Bear cubs are born the size of a stick of butter at birth. This one is still trying to find the popcorn for the party!
