This is a drive-through park in Rapid City, South Dakota. If you can catch it at the right time of day, it’s a delight!
- Bighorn are grazers, eating grasses and shrubs. After descending to grasslands to quickly eat large amounts of vegetation, bighorn will then retreat to cliffs away from predators.
- Bears have acute eyesight and hearing. Their sense of smell is seven times greater than a bloodhound’s. They have a keen ability to detect pet food, garbage, barbecue grills and bird feeders—and once they locate a food source, they remember where it is.
- Badgers are excellent diggers. They can easily bury themselves faster than a human with a shovel can dig them out.
- Bear cubs are born the size of a stick of butter at birth. This one is still trying to find the popcorn for the party!
