We decided to do a Build-A-Library baby shower for Sarah, at her new home. As Dr. Seuss says, “Fill your house with lots of books, in all the crannies and all the nooks!” The baby thus far is known as Baby C – no first name until they see the little guy!
- The front of Sarah and Adam’s new home, which has a great view of Lake Union.
- Avocado deviled eggs, so we could have GREEN eggs with the ham.
- Some of the fruits that the Hungry Hungry Caterpillar likes to eat.
- Cutting up Dr. Seuss books for decorations was fun.
- Multicolored fishy crackers – handy for One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
- Sarah’s architect friend, Cynthia, made sure that the baby will know that “F” is for Frank Lloyd Wright and “M” is for Midcentury Modern.
- “Meatballs” were actually vegan peanut butter, chocolate and coconut balls. Yum!
- There were never such devoted sisters!
- I’m not a fan of bugs, but Baby C might be!
- Sarah testing out the bath snuggly wrap.
- YES! Love all the STEM influence!
- Everyone holding up their book gifts!!
