Niece Jenny and her family were in town, so it was a great opportunity to do some touristy stuff, like go to MoPop, the Museum of Pop Culture, and a Mariner’s game at T-Mobile Park.
- My St. Louis family, in front of a a guitar tornado sculpture that spirals to the ceiling, while robot fingers continuously tap barely audible tunes on its hundreds of strings. The sculptor has to come back once a year to tune every one of them.
- Ty and Caleb in their guitar jam session in the Sound Lab. They’re actually good players!
- Abby and Lilly give the hands on rhythm machine a workout by making music waving their hands in the air.
- Several pop culture items are here, but my favorite were the swords used by Inego Montoya and the six-fingered man from The Princess Bride.
- Looking down 600 feet to the base of the Space Needle below us. We’re SO brave.
- Well, the Mariners didn’t provide much baseball excitement, but it was a great chance to hang out together.
- Mike made sure that he got autographs from both Ty and Caleb, future NBA All Stars.
- Yes, Ty, we need your last name, too.
- My niece Jenny and her husband Tony were not “true to the blue” for Mariners. The whole family was decked out in Cardinal Red.
- Niece Megan and her son Alex practicing their 7th inning stretch.
- We were awarded an official certificate of attendance, to “That Rowdy St. Louis Family”
