Mt. Rainier was doing the National Park dance of the Seven Veils – a little peek here and there. By the time we hiked up Skyline trail, there was NO mountain.

- Look at Mike on that same rock facing the other direction. No mountain!
- As Donovan sings, “First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is”.
- Avalanche lillies, which appear in the spring around snowslide time.
- Well, it’s still pretty up here, even without the star attraction.
