We love supporting Seattle Theatre Group AND visiting family. May put all those good things together.
- This year’s Seattle Theatre Group DOORS fundraiser was Princess! a great female cover band for Prince tunes.
- Rubbing elbows at Seattle DOORS with comedienne Maya Rudolph and jazz singer Gretchen Lieberum. I actually talked Mike into wearing a purple shirt!
- The Mighty Wurlitzer was installed when movies (not talkies) were the rage, and Charlie Chaplin was Hollywood’s brightest star. It’s one of only 3 in the US left in its original location.
- Our nephews Ryan and Ethan – boys will be boys!
- Championship Wrestling with Uncle Mike!
- Ryan and mom Jessica showing off their gardening.
- FroYo in the ‘hood! At White Cap in Burien.
- Birthday Girl on the Seattle waterfront.
- Birthday sweet peas and deep thoughts.
- Since our birthdays were so close, Terry Jones and Kathy Shelby shared in the cake and tiaras :)
- Lunch with Mom at Bair’s Drug in Steilacoom, WA. They still have their original soda fountain from 1908!
- Kayaking on Lake Union. Yes, that is the Space Needle sprouting from Mike’s head.
- Watching demolition of the Seattle Viaduct, which has been replaced by a huge four lane underground tunnel, dug by the largest boring machine in the world.
- As the window says, “Goodbye Viaduct”. Behind the crane is another sign that says, “Hello View”!
