With sunny skies for two months solid, we made the most of our Seattle summer as tourists. We sponsored the Washington CLUB Charity Golf Classic, raising money for Holly Ridge Center, Seattle Children’s, and the Diabetes Research Institute.
- Always great to see friends at the CLUB golf tournament.
- Women’s long drive champion!
- Mike and Butch figuring out just how far the potato gun can shoot a golf ball. Answer? 320 yards!
- Don Hursey and I were lucky winners of an Amazon Echo each.
- Kayaking in West Seattle, with the city skyline as our backdrop.
- Trying out those Lime rental bikes along Alki Beach in West Seattle.
- The best peaches are at Sosio’s at the Pike Place Market.
- We stayed at Sarah’s apartment in Columbia City, where the light rail took us either to the airport or downtown Seattle in 15 minutes. Great location!
- Celebrating world traveler Shelly Ainsley’s retirement as a foreign service secretary, with her husband Kevin, Kathy Carrithers and Lisa Fein. The old Bank of America gang!
