Seattle was sun-soaked with beautiful spring weather for my stay.
- Pike Place Market exploding with spring daffodils.
- Because friends don’t let friends eat farmed salmon.
- Catching the early morning ferry in the Northwest reveals those gorgeous Olympic mountains.
- In a homey touch, a few puzzles are left on tables on the ferry. Just in case you don’t want to look out the window at the stunning Puget Sound.
- Lunch for the birthday girl! Sister Kathy and I took Mom, 88 years young, out for a celebration.
- Mom loves a good bouquet, in this case roses from granddaughter Sarah.
- Irish-ish is about right! Ready for St. Paddy’s Day!
- Our merry band of dashers, complete with a leprechaun.
- Terry Jones, Wald Yund and me at the starting line. It was chilly, but we found Irish Coffee later.
- The Whine Club, our group of banking gal pals. Missing a few, but still plenty opinionated! Back: Nancy Nuerenberg, me, Rita Wilson, Erin Smith. Front: Kathy Carrithers, Lisa Fein and Terry Jones.
- At the Boys and Girls Club LunchBreak with Mark Broughton and Jim Margard. Three proud supporters for kids here! Nityia Photography
- Keynote Jackie Joyner-Kersee ranked among the all-time greatest athletes in the heptathlon and long jump. She won six Olympic medals at four different Olympic Games. Sports Illustrated voted her the Greatest Female Athlete of All-Time!
