Party time in the Pacific Northwest – family and friends who are dear to us gather near to us once more.
- The “Whine Club” at Purple Cafe. Smart and funny bankers talking politics, travel and, of course, wine.
- Harry Potter Christmas tree as decorated by the designer!
- Harry Potter and Voldemort, immortalized in a candy duel as part of the Gingerbread Village.
- Our annual Christmas tea, always good for giggles.
- Steeped in Comfort in Tacoma makes the best scones, and reindeer cookies (for the protein).
- Sarah took the grand prize, with her battery powered ugly sweater AND hat.
- Toasting Thierry Rautureau, a.k.a. the Chef in the Hat and owner of Loulay. That’s a beet infused martini called “The Beet Goes On”.
- Four of the five founding partners of Rainier Investment Management, wearing their pink shirts in solidarity. Before they started their company, Rainier Bank insisted on white shirts. Such rebels!
- Mike with Britt Barrineau, Chuck Ogata and Ann Aoyama, the first employees hired at Rainier Investment Management.
- A warm toast to Jim Margard and Mark Dawson, both retiring after successful careers at Rainier.
- We expected shenanigans, but not the horse headed nerf gun sniper.
- Sending off Margard and Dawson properly with a little silly string.
