A stopover in Lubbock, TX allowed us time to catch up with our niece, Ashley, and visit Texas Tech University. TTU campus is home to the undergraduate school, law school and medical school, and is the very pulse of Lubbock. To be honest, not a lot else is going on there, but it was an impressive campus!
- Our lovely niece, Ashley, someday to speak for the underprivileged.
- Texas Tech offers more than 150 courses of study for its 35,000 students.
- Spanish Rennaisance architecture dominates the campus.
- Agriculture is a BIG field of study at TTU, and that’s no bull.
- Nothing like free food to pique the interest in math club.
- Zumba was apparently not exciting enough.
- Live music near the campus.
- Not large, just Texas sized!
- Taking a stab at UT Austin Longhorns – “They call it a mascot, We call it BBQ”
