We took a planeload of family from San Francisco and Denver to Moline for Thanksgiving. Mike’s nephew, Tim, and his wife Amy were top secret cargo – a special surprise, since they just recently moved to the west coast.
- Rosemary rounded the corner at the restaurant at full speed, squealing with delight.
- Tim has a good chuckle, having pulled a fast one on his Mom and Dad. Tim’s wife Amy got a warm welcome home hug.
- Some, not all, of Mike’s sisters – Mary Ann from Denver, Cookie from Moline, and Rosemary from Geneseo.
- Cookie “helping” Dan to focus on his bowling.
- Eva learned early that girls rule, and well… sorry, brother Jack!
- How appropriate! First turkey of my life on Thanksgiving weekend!
- Matt, Andrea and Jude carnivoring.
- Rob demonstrating that seconds aren’t necessary if you do it right the first time.
- Kari’s apple pear tart made me eat so much, apparently I grew horns.
- Mike and JR showing us the latest wheels. Look ma, no engine!
- The two nanoseconds that some of the 10 kids present stood still.
- Vicki and her amazing mom, Loretta, who’s still golfing at 92.
