A quick stopover in Seattle for a twofer – Mariner’s game fan night, where they gave away big screen TVs, season tickets, boat cruises, and lots of autographed memorabilia. We won nada. El Zippo. The Mariner’s did pull out a win, though!
Then we were off to the Boys and Girls Club auction with our friends from Rainier Investment Management. We matched the raise the paddle donations from our table, as well as a our friend, Marylou Brannan (executive director of Microsoft Alumni) who snuck over to our table and raised her card. A great night – the crowd raised over $850,000 to enable young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
