Lake Tahoe is up and running! Neal and Eileen Brauner and family were our guests for the weekend. Lake Tahoe is still very low, despite a wetter than normal May. The lake level is dependent on snowpack in the surrounding mountains. Last year tied with 1934 for the lowest snowfall ever.
- Taking it easy in the new chair hammock – uh, chairmmock?
- Pickleball with Eileen and Neal Brauner and their sons Jared and Scott. We swept rainfall off the court to avoid wipeouts.
- Wild roses next to Sugar Pine State Park. Those thorns might help keep hikers off our property.
- Dan and Mike raising the extremely heavy mast.
- Neal and Mike hoisting the inaugural sail.
- 7AM kayak trips are the BEST. Water like glass.
- After the sprinkle, the payoff rainbow.
- The water at the edge of the dock is so low, it’s only ankle deep.
- Fine dining with a fine view!
