It’s not a real birthday unless you sign a waiver, so I had to go for the sky diving!
- Awesome experience – how fun to be airborne!
- The wind tunnel is 12 ft. wide and 22 ft. tall, powered by a 1000 horsepower motor attached to a DC3 propeller. WINDY!!!
- Great birthday dinner with nephew Jeff (in town for an Auto convention) and Mike.
- Jeff hand delivered greetings from his daughter Sophia, who I love especially for her math skills.
- Special dinner out at a fancy pants French restaurant – found in Paris, Bangkok, Tokyo, Monaco, New York and Las Vegas!
- My new favorite Pinot Noir! We sat at the counter at L’Atelier Joel Robuchon to watch the action in the kitchen.
- Mouthwatering watermelon gazpacho that really looks like watermelon.
- You won’t find more beautiful presentation. This salmon salad was incredible.
- How about this for a take on carrot cake? That’s a real little one inch baby carrot on the side.
- The Divine Miss M capped the evening off.
- Sistine Chapel ala Bette
- At 69, her voice was a little weak, but the Sophie Tucker jokes were still great… One night my boyfriend Ernie said “Soph, if you could learn to cook, we could fire the chef!” I said to him “Ernie, if you could learn to f$@k! We could fire the chauffeur!”
