Our home away from home, sailing the Greek islands.
Four little bedrooms, a kitchen (or “galley” in sailspeak).
53 feet of sailing pleasure in our boat, Instant Zero.
We rented it for a week as a bareboat charter,
which means the six of us were the crew.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew…
Mike, Jerry, Deb, Kathy, Larry and me.
The weather was sunny, but chilly in early May.

Watch those toes near the electric windlass that
drops and pulls up the anchor.
Kathy on KP, cleaning up breakfast dishes.

Sailing isn’t as easy as it looks!  Jerry and Mike had
to put some elbow grease into pulling this line.

Kathy and I bundled up for a windy day sail.

Deb and Jerry navigating with charts on the iPad –
in a waterproof sleeve, of course.
