Sailing near Athens, we had big wakes from huge
container ships like this one.

Being around the water makes everything more
beautiful.  We ate fresh octopus on the deck of
a small local restaurant with this as our view.

Fresh local lobster with spaghettini, the house specialty.
Mounds of soggy nets, at least 4 ft. square,
were heaped on the shoreline every morning.
Local fishermen spend hours each morning untangling
 
fishing nets and little fish that succumbed to bycatch.

Feral cats are poised at the docks to catch any fish
parts tossed in their direction.  This kitten scored
an entire fish head.
