El Capitan is a favorite for experienced rock climbers.
Rising more than 3,000 ft. from the valley floor,
it’s the largest granite monolith in the world.
Across the street from El Capitan, there is always
a crowd of groupies watching!

Sealing the deal with a kiss, near the site of our
wedding in 2005 :)
Half Dome is the most recognized symbol of
Yosemite, rising 5,000 ft. to the top!  Climbers
use steel cables as handholds for the steep part
of the climb.  Very dangerous during storms,
due to slick granite and lightning exposure.
Nice of the deer to provide the floor show for
our dinner, right on cue!
The elegant, grand Ahwahnee lodge dining room.
Built to last in 1927, it’s the jewel of National Park
Lodge hotels, declared a national historic landmark
in 1987.
