Rangiroa is an hour flight from Tahiti,
definitely off the beaten path for tourists. 
Looks like this guy caught a big fish, right?
That’s actually a dolphin, who happened to jump
in the air while he was fishing.  The dolphins
came out to play in the waves every night at
dusk, just like clockwork.
Most activities for the week were
cancelled due to high wave action and rain.
The weather was mostly sunny, but
we did have a couple of tropical
rainstorms that drove us indoors.
