Outrigger canoe at sunset.
Is there a limit to how much beauty one can take?
Jagged Mt. Otemanu is covered with dense
jungle.
A collapsed oceanic volcano.
Amazing that this photo even turned out…
See the two “pointer” stars that together draw
a line to the 2 o’clock position?  That four
star constellation that they point to, that looks
like a kite, is the Southern Cross.  Visible only
from the southern hemisphere, it’s easy to identify
in the night sky.  A navigational beacon, it’s been
identified by many cultures – as a cross, a sting ray
or the footprint of an eagle.
Full moon rising – bright enough
to turn the night sky back to blue!
