Every year, my sister Kathy and I get off the
 merry go round and relax for a few days. 
Sunset at Semiahmoo, in Blaine, WA – up near
the Canadian border.  Beautiful beaches!
Of course, if you get off the merry
go round, you have to get onto
the Ferris wheel!  
Seattle’s new attraction, the Great Wheel was
added to the waterfront last year as a way to
attract people despite the major construction
project as the waterfront tunnel is rebuilt.
Note:  this was NOT a black and white photo,
it actually is that grey in Seattle, sometimes.
