Sunrise in Ten Sleep, WY.  No sleep for the
wicked if you want to catch an all day ride.
Backcountry riding through the wilderness,
not a soul for miles of sun dappled meadows,
creeks and rocky trails (including the impossible
to hold a camera “grab your ass pass”).
It was a technical ride, guiding the horses over
slick and sometimes narrow rocky areas.  In some
cases, it was safer just to walk them – those horse
shoes don’t have much traction on these rocks.
After 2 1/2 hours riding, we arrived at an alpine
lake.  Picnic lunch and a little (unsuccessful)
fly fishing.  But the form is convincing!
