Castanet lessons could be troublesome
if Mike is the one clapping the beat!
Plaza de Espana was a park built for the 1929
international exposition.  Unfortunately, the
timing was when the big crash happened in
the stock market, so hardly anyone came.
The tilework and buildings
are exquisite, but threw
Seville into debt for 50
years after the flopped
exposition.
We drove a little 4 wheeler buggy
all over the park.  The palm trees
were incredible – this one had
eleven trunks!
