The Sky City Grill served Mom & I  some great
Wild Salmon Caesar salads – the restaurant
revolves 360 degrees about twice an hour.
Quite futuristic in it’s day, it was originally
going to be called the “Space Cage”.  Built to
withstand up to a 9.1 earthquake, and there are
25 lightning rods on top, too!
Seattle’s favorite icon turns 50 this year!
When completed, it was the tallest structure
west of the Mississippi.
A hat, just like the one I had at the fair!!

Part of the fun of eating here is putting notes on
the window – everyone grabs a pen and answers
questions as they slowly crawl by… like “Where
are you from?”  Answers:  London, Germany,
US, Switzerland
