Bizarre looking – this is a crocodile swimming
down the river after snatching a wildebeast.
Gerenuk, found in northern
Kenya, is also called the giraffe
 necked gazelle.  Extremely
 delicate, they stand upright to
lick dew off the leaves.
The lowly warthog, with a face only a mother
could love.  The big horns are for fighting
predators – warthogs are root eating herbivores.
What trip to Africa would be
complete without sunset near
a classic umbrella tree?
