Tanzanian shilings are about 1600 to $1USD,
so this 10,000 note (wow) is worth about $6.

Tanzania had hyper inflation a few years ago,
when one TRILLION Tanzanian shillings
wouldn’t buy you a cup of coffee. 
Agriculture accounts for about 1/2 of GDP,
and 75% of employment.  Although the
water was not potable for us, the produce
was great, as long as it was washed
in purified water.
An old Singer treadle sewing machine put
to good use.  No electricity?  Hakuna matata!
