Not for the faint of heart, more of a
boulder climb than a trail in parts…

Preikestolen, or Pulpit Rock in English
is by far the most popular hike in Norway.

About 5 1/2 hours round trip.

We started our hike at 6AM to avoid
the big rush, and had views like this
all to ourselves.
We couldn’t wait to hang
 our heads over the edge.

No railing!  Base jumpers
and those crazy guys in
flying squirrel suits love
this spot.

It was REALLY windy – about 25mph
 with gusts up to 35mph.
