Built around 800BC, with over 100 marble
columns.  Destroyed by arson, flood and
plunderers, it was rebuilt at least 7 times.
A single column is all
that remains of the Temple
of Artemis, one of the 7
wonders of the Ancient
Storks top old Roman aqueducts in the city
of Selcuk, nearest to ancient Ephesus.
We had dinner at a cafe right next to these.
