Mike hiked along with nephews JR and Tim in the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park in UT.  The hoodoo rock formations can be as large as a 10 story building – formed by rain and wind, twisted into weird shapes.
From there, they met up with  the Colorado gang (Dan  Reif,  Benji and Brett), who trekked down the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park near the 4 corners (AZ, UT, NM, CO).  Sore muscles were soaked in the 104 degree natural hot springs of Ouray, CO (from the left:  Mike, Benji, JR, Brett, Dan and Tim).
Next AM, up and at ’em, they hiked 3,000 vertical feet to the top of Twin Peaks, with the town of Ouray below them.  Congrats to Brett, who set the timer and did the 10 second dash to get in this photo!
