Miss Courtney’s Tearoom in Killarney is famous, now operated by the 4th generation of family. All of the china there has been donated – Miss Courtney put out a notice that she’d accept china from anyone who had extra they didn’t want. So the china is exquisite – from Ireland, England, Japan, China, Bulgaria, Italy. But none of it matches, which makes it very fun.

Tea is served piping hot, burn your tongue hot. Always with milk and sugar. At breakfast, they always bring you toast with your tea, even before you order anything.
