At the Guinness Brewery tour in Dublin, we took lessons on how to pour the perfect pint. That includes a step where you fill the glass 75% full and let it sit for 119.5 seconds to let the foam settle, before you top it off. Guinness has actually been quite generous in Dublin, financing several local projects, including major restoration of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

At the pubs (short for public house, did you know that?) in Dublin…they don’t ask you if you want a drink, they ask you if you want a Guinness.
