At the High Museum in downtown Atlanta, we took in the classic car show (chosen for their artistic form!) – I’m posing in front of the 1957 Cadillac. What a great year for women and Cadillacs.
This little house was designed by Roy Lichtenstein, and is it ever trippy. It is a 2 sided house that is bent at angles to give the impression that it is a 4 sided house, and turns with you as you walk by it. We must have studied it for a good 20 minutes. Amazingly clever.
We also took in Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion live radio show @ the beautiful Fox Theater in Atlanta. Special guest included blues guitar, folk singing, sing-a-longs (yay!) and of course the news from Lake Wobegone. “Where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average.”
