Whirling dervishes are actually doing a meditation when they twirl with great skirts and cloths over their head. This guy turned in the same direction at a fast pace for a good 20 minutes, to lively music.
Little did we know, he was only the opening act for the belly dancer, quite risque for this culture. In fact, the lead singer of the band never looked at her while she was dancing. He looked at the floor, the walls, anywhere else but her semi-nude body.
