How about hiking through an abandoned mining tunnel? How about doing it in the DARK with no flashlight?? We forgot ours…it was pitch black with water running down the sides of the shaft. Pretty creepy for about 1/4 mile until it finally came into daylight again!!

Did you two behave yourselves in the dark mine with no one seeing?
Was it really a former mine? It kind of reminds me of the lava tubes we walked through in Hawaii which were maybe a 1/4 mile or so long and about the same size round.
Mike said it reminded him of the lava tubes, too. Behaving?! I think I had a death grip on Mike’s arm in the dark parts…he probably has the marks to prove it! I kept wondering if there were any rats in there.
