Yes, we did see the PGA Tournament at Torrey Pines in San Diego. We did see Tiger Woods (and I yelled GO TIGER, which is why he won). Alas, Tiger was unwilling to pose for a photo.
A far more likeable candidate is my brother Mike, who played golf with us. A few more swings than Tiger normally takes, but he was definitely more fun :)
This grown woman (my sister in law) can actually STAND inside a golf cart. At 4 ft. 8 in., this is the first time I'd ever seen Cyndi without her heels. Now that is what you call petite!!
We did a snowmobile rally where we had to go to 5 different locations to draw cards and see what poker hand we came up with. Mike ALMOST had a full house...
Musico muy romantico! This restaurant became our favorite. They made fresh salsa and guacamole at the table. We also succumbed to the camarones (shrimp) which is the specialty in Mazatlan. The best margaritas ever. And... the flaming bananas were great, too! Fortunately we got in some long, long walks on the beach for excercise...
So what's a pulmonia? Kind of like a glorified golf cart, and a taxi substitute in Mazatlan. Each is decorated differently and some have music (Mexican, rap, pop take your pick!) Seat belts... no way, Jose. Those are rare indeed in Mexico.
What a beautiful course! Several holes were right on the ocean. There were bets made and pesos exchanged, but it all came out pretty even in the end...
Check out this candle... look closely and you'll see the ones lit at the top, over the cascading wax beneath... this has been cooking for some time! We're at the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan for New Years dancing and dinner :)
