Hiking the Narrows in Zion Nat'l Park
This was a guy trip - Mike's brothers Charlie, Tom and Dan, along with his flying buddy Joe, and nephews Tim (Chicago) and Matt& Nick (Moline) . Mike and I did a similar (and shorter) version on our honeymoon. 60% of this hike is in the water in a slot canyon. It's so scenic, so cool (view and weatherwise). You have to wear special water boots to go through the river, which is (per the ranger) like walking on greased bowling balls. Posted by Picasa

Sun Valley Idaho
Did I mention that Sun Valley is a tough course? How do you like the look of these endless sand traps? The green is too tiny to be seen....at the top of the traps. Nice swing, Mike!! Posted by Picasa

Sun Valley, Idaho: Sue breaks 100!!!
Must have been that "Break 100 NOW" book that I bought. The final score (complete with penalty strokes and no gimmee putts) was 99. Since Sun Valley is a higher elevation the ball goes further here - as in a 190 yard drive for yours truly. Looks like we're going to Ireland :)

3 Day Golf Clinic in Semiahmoo
Blaine, WA next to the Canadian border, eh? Great clinic - we learned a lot from Mike Adams, great instructor from Florida. I think I learned more than Mike, since I'm a relative newcomer to golf. Posted by Picasa

Kayaking the Snake River
This is the Snake River Hells Canyon area, between Oregon and Idaho. We did a 3 day kayak trip with Mike's brother Dan and his wife Vicki. Warm weather, great company. Idaho Afloat is a first class outfitter with great guides & food. We sang in the canyon after dark and then slept under the stars.  Posted by Picasa
